Job Summary
Solar Industries India Ltd. is seeking an entry-level SAP MM Consultant to support Materials Management operations within SAP. The role focuses on routine configuration, master data maintenance, L1 support, and functional documentation, offering hands-on exposure in a large manufacturing and defence-focused enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
SAP MM Configuration & Support
Assist in basic SAP MM configuration, including:
Organizational structures (Plants, Storage Locations)
Material Master and Vendor (Business Partner) setup
Provide L1 support to end users by resolving common transactional errors
Identify, analyze, and escalate SAP MM-related issues and software bugs when required
Master Data Management
Create, update, and maintain:
Material Master data
Business Partner (Vendor) records
Source Lists and purchasing-related master data
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with business processes
Documentation & Testing
Prepare and maintain:
Functional Design Documents (FDDs)
User manuals and SOPs
Test cases and test result documentation
Support system testing and validation activities
Preferred Candidate Profile
Education: BE / B.Tech (Any Specialization)
Experience: 0–1 year (Freshers with SAP MM training/certification can apply)
Certification: SAP MM Certification (Highly Preferred)
Availability: Immediate joiners preferred
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Good communication and documentation skills
