Job Overview NMD is seeking a detail-oriented Associate – DTC Retail to manage Accounts Receivable (AR) operations across Wholesale, Retail, and E-Commerce channels for large markets. The role involves cash application, reconciliations, reporting, month-end closing, audit coordination, and process improvement initiatives while ensuring high accuracy and compliance. Key Roles & Responsibilities Accounts Receivable & Reconciliation Perform AR accounting activities for Wholesale, Retail, and E-Commerce channels across large markets. Follow up on customer remittances and credit adjustments, ensuring unapplied cash is kept to a minimum. Execute sales vs. collection reconciliations for key customers, landlords, and online stores. Reporting & Analysis Prepare and analyze: AR Deduction Reports E-Commerce Reconciliation Reports Retail Aging Reports Collection & Receivables Analysis Support management with accurate financial insights and variance analysis. Team Review & Quality Control Review work performed by junior team members (e.g., cash application tasks). Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with standard accounting procedures. Month-End & Audit Support Perform and review month-end closing activities. Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables. Process Improvement & Documentation Create, update, and maintain desktop procedures (SOPs). Identify inconsistencies and recommend process improvements. Support projects such as efficiency improvements and system upgrades. Propose and implement smart work and automation ideas. Cross-Functional Coordination Handle ad-hoc requests and collaborate with other business streams to resolve issues efficiently. Required Skills & Competencies Strong Accounting & AR knowledge Reconciliation and financial reporting expertise High attention to detail with strong customer orientation Analytical and problem-solving abilities Self-motivated and able to work independently Business-level proficiency in English communication Preferred Skills Experience with SAP (SD / MM / FI / Retail modules) Exposure to Shared Services environments Knowledge of ERP systems, data quality, and reporting tools Education & Experience Experience: Minimum 3+ years in accounting or AR operations Education: Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, Economics, or related field UG: Any Graduate PG: Any Postgraduate Equal Opportunity Statement NMD is an equal opportunity employer.
