Job Summary Black Box is seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA MM Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Material Management, EDI integration, and exposure to EWM (preferred). The consultant will play a key role in end-to-end SAP MM implementation, configuration, customization, and optimization, ensuring seamless integration with business processes and third-party applications. This role requires deep functional expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to guide stakeholders through complex SAP MM landscapes. Key Responsibilities SAP MM Configuration & Implementation Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA MM configuration and implementation Customize SAP MM solutions aligned with business requirements Support enhancements, integrations, and optimization initiatives Material Master Data Configure material types, views, attributes, material groups, and valuation classes Maintain accurate and scalable master data structures Purchasing Configuration Configure purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, and scheduling agreements Set up document types, item categories, release strategies, and approval workflows Vendor Master Data Configure vendor account groups, payment terms, partner functions Define and manage vendor evaluation criteria and scoring models Source Determination Configure automatic source determination strategies Set up source lists, quota arrangements, and procurement rules Inventory Management Configure storage locations, movement types, and inventory document types Manage special stocks, batch management, and split valuation Goods Receipt & Goods Issue Configure GR/GI processes Set up automatic account determination for inventory postings Valuation & Account Determination Define valuation classes, account categories, and account grouping Configure account determination for all MM-related transactions Invoice Verification Configure tolerance limits and tolerance keys Define vendor-specific invoice verification controls Integration Management Ensure seamless integration with SAP SD, PP, FI, and other modules Support third-party system integrations and interface configurations Workflow & Approval Management Configure procurement-related workflows and approval processes Define release procedures, release codes, and strategies EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Configure EDI for electronic supplier communication Support procurement automation and data exchange Security & Authorization Define SAP MM roles and authorization profiles Implement access controls for sensitive procurement and inventory data Process Optimization & Training Analyze existing MM business processes and recommend improvements Implement SAP best practices Conduct end-user training and provide post-go-live support Qualifications & Experience Education Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field Experience Proven experience as a Senior SAP MM Consultant Strong hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA MM Experience with end-to-end implementations and rollouts Knowledge of EDI integrations (mandatory) Exposure to SAP EWM is an added advantage Skills & Competencies Deep functional knowledge of SAP MM Strong understanding of procure-to-pay (P2P) processes Experience with third-party integrations Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong project leadership and stakeholder management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Certifications (Preferred) SAP MM Certification SAP S/4HANA-related certifications (added advantage) Why Join Black Box?
