Pacific BPO PVT LTD Job description Profile : MEDICAL CODER - E&M Location - Chennai, Trivandrum ,Pune , Coimbatore,Noida Profile -Medical coders-E/M Experience : Minimum 1.5 years Interview Mode - Zoom Roles and Responsibilities Maintains a working knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding principles, governmental regulations, protocols and third party requirements regarding billing and billing documentation. Assures that all services documented in the patients chart are coded with appropriate CPT-4 and ICD-9 codes. When services are not documented appropriately, seeks to attain proper documentation in a timely manner. Achieves and maintains a high level of accuracy in professional fee coding while maintaining a high level of productivity. Accuracy will be monitored by periodic reviews by the supervisors. Conducts a review of patient hospital charts to insure compliance with coding and documentation guidelines and governmental requirements. Provides written reports to the supervisors with results of these audits. Conducts one-on-one or small group education/feedback to the Manager regarding the results of their periodic reviews while maintaining an exceptionally high level of professionalism. Maintains a working knowledge of required billing system, the registration process and charge entry. Worked on levelling and reporting Psychiatry/ Behavioral Health/Mental Health coders Required Candidate profile Experience in E&M coding for a minimum of 1.5 year is required.
