Role and Responsibilities

• Basic knowledge of SAP (PP module) Regularly maintain and update Product BOM of Material. Review Product change request & update BOMs as necessary. Works with Operations and purchasing department to coordinate activities. Prepared projected level BOM to determine projected product cost and incorporate necessary features on product as per Design. Co-ordinate with respective departments (i.e. Design, Technical, R &D) & take reference of similar product data to prepare BOM Co-ordinate with respective departments, vendors for data and compile the data. (I.e. plant, purchase vendors for Final details & prepare Final BOM. Send the BOM to costing department to get accurate product costing. Reverse engineering for product detailing and prepare BOM. Coordinate with Moulding team to get the proper Moulding details to create BOM. Prepared Bill of Materials and updated in SAP. Revise SAP BOM with valid corrections, check PO's & BOP's cost in SAP. Coordinate with costing departments to freeze the final costing of the product. Comparison of Excel BOM with SAP BOM, done changes as per requirements. Change and update SAP BOM as per requirements. Corrections of routing data and comparing Excel BOM vs SAP BOM. Preparation of Master Data such as BOM (Bill of Material) and Routing in SAP. Production Costing Knowledge in SAP. Comparing Product Costing of SAP and Excel. SAP BOM and Routing Correction as per Requirement.
