Description

We are a leading import-export logistics company. This role is for Business Development in our Freight Forwarding team. We are looking for young and bright candidates. Roles and Responsibilities Conduct sales calls, visits to clients, exhibitions and trade fairs Conduct digital marketing activities (make creatives, publish online ads, SEM, etc) Understand client requirements and follow up consistently Maintain close working relationships with internal Customer Service, Operations and Logistics team to ensure client satisfaction Liaison between the clients and internal teams for various concerns, wherever required. Ensure that clients are satisfied with the company at all times and resolve any outstanding issues. Retain existing clients and further probe them to enhance business opportunities Perform market study to collect information on customers, competitors, key import-export trade areas, new trends Desired Candidate Profile We are looking for a dynamic candidate who is SMART, BRIGHT, has a GO GETTER ATTITUDE. The ideal candidate will have: Strong email communication skills Good English speaking and writing skills Willingness to commute within Mumbai and as per meetings planned, to other cities to meet customers Self-confidence, persistence, and persuasion power High motivation for sales and developing client relationships Negotiation skills Basic IT skills (Excel, Outlook; CRM is a bonus) Preferable: Past experience with digital marketing Past experience in import / export sector is not needed.
