Title: Workday System Analyst
Location: Remote (Anywhere within India)
Duration: Client full-time
Purpose of Role
The Workday System Analyst will be key to supporting the full suite of Workday, including Financials, HCM, reporting, and dashboards at Company and its subsidiaries.
Core Responsibilities:
•Product owner for Workday Financials, prioritizing issues based on severity
•Act as a domain expert in Workday Financials, supporting Financial Management, Procurement, Banking & Settlement, Expense Management, Billing & Collections, and Workday/Adaptive Planning functional areas
•Support the implementation and maintenance of HCM core modules and advanced modules including, but not limited to Talent Management, Advanced Compensation, Learning, Workforce Management (Time Tracking), and Payroll
•Analyze, design, document, and test system configuration to existing processes and reports in the production environment
•Project manage implementations of new modules
•Participate in, test, and deliver semi-annual Workday updates
•Assist in gathering business requirements; analyzing and providing conceptual and detail design to meet business needs; managing configurations in Workday; and testing and supporting the rollout of the solution
•Collaborate with functional leads to determine solutions or workarounds
•Provide solutions / options for the business to consider, along with pros and cons for each option and recommendation
•Drive the design, configuration, and deployment of new projects and system enhancements
•Develop procedures, manuals, and other documentation for the systems developed based on the requirements gathered
•Maintain your knowledge of new functionality and compliance changes
•Develop custom reports and dashboards for FIN
•Backup support for Workday HCM
•Special projects, as needed
Professional Experience, Essential Skills, and Knowledge
•A bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering, or similar discipline; supported by experience in a similar technical environment
•Minimum 2 years of demonstrated ability supporting or implementing the Workday system
•In-depth understanding of Workday Financials (e.g., Financial Management, Procurement, Banking & Settlement, Expense Management, Billing & Collections, and Workday/Adaptive Planning), as well as the business context and how to translate business and functional requirements into a sustainable Workday solution
•Experienced in implementation and maintenance of HCM core and advanced modules (e.g., Talent Management, Advanced Compensation, Learning, Workforce Planning (Time Tracking), and Payroll)
•Fast learner and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team
•A solid level of familiarity with financial terminology and business processes
•Excellent analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
•Able to deal with critical resolution timeframes and contending priorities
•Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills required to interact with colleagues and internal customers
•Ability to work effectively with others who are in remote locations and varying time zones
•Demonstrable ability to collaborate and build positive relationships with customers and internal resources
