Experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma deployment
Lean Six Sigma Competency and Provision
Fluent in Lean fundamentals: (e.g.) Lean Principles, Lean Leadership, Lean Tools, Kaizen and Hoshin-Kanri (Deployment Planning)
Experience in deployment concepts & tools like VSM, SMED, Kanban, TOC, JIT (Just in Time) , Poka Yoke etc
Experience in leading similar projects for manufacturing Industry
Strong Communication skills & experience in dealing with Senior Management
Proficiency in Change Management
Strong of Data Driven Decision and Analysis Inferences

Strong knowledge of lean tools and principles
Hands on experience in driving and implementing lean
Structured problem solving skills
Knowledge on six sigma will be an added advantage
Mentor Lean projects for successful and timely completion
Ability to work as a team to different stakeholders

Act as mentor and coach to operations team to engage them in continuous improvement activities
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to create flow through entire value stream using cross-functional collaboration
Willing to visit Gemba frequently to understand and solve problems at root
Practices and teaches fundamental problem solving (PDCA) to identify problems, define, fix and avoid them from reverting back
Supports and leverages process for best practice sharing
Strong in operating Powerpoint and Excel
Certification on Lean and Six sigma will be an added advantage
Roles and Responsibilities
Assess, Identify, Deploy & Sustain Opportunities for Improvement
Build Lean charter elements in view of bringing results and enabling process excellence culture.
Drive productivity improvements in operating processes through structural interventions using process excellence methodologies.
Drive business critical projects through application of knowledge, establishing stakeholder connect.
Collaborate with various functions to drive business projects.
Drive automation and digitization initiatives.
Develop lean implementation plan and coordinate the execution at pan-India level
Perform Lean assessment for multiple sites and coordinate site development plan for each site
Develop lean champions within the Project team
Mentor and assist Lean specialists in deploying lean tools and principles
Mentor Lean projects for successful and timely completion
Provide frequent trainings on lean principles to operational personnel
Drive high impact projects on lean which can deliver business /cost impact
Conduct kaizen competitions to sustain kaizen culture
Act as mentor and coach for operation team for engaging them in continuous improvement activities
Educational Qualification:
Graduate in Engineering and minimum 2+ years of total experience.
Must have a proven track record of successfully leading change initiatives including experience implementing Lean from concept to full scale implementation.
Effective facilitator and communication through encouragement, motivation and inspirational skills at all levels of the organization
