Job Description: As a Workday Finance Technical Consultant, you will play a crucial role in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Workday's financial management solutions for our organization or our clients. Your primary focus will be on leveraging your technical expertise and knowledge of Workday's Finance modules to deliver high-quality and effective solutions that meet business requirements. This position requires a deep understanding of financial processes and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: Workday Financials Implementation: Collaborate with the implementation team to design and configure Workday's Financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Cash Management, Expenses, and Procurement. Technical Configuration: Customize and configure the Workday Finance modules to align with the organization's specific financial processes and requirements. This involves creating custom reports, calculated fields, business processes, and integrations. Data Migration: Assist with data conversion and migration from legacy systems to Workday Finance. Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the migration process. Integration: Integrate Workday Finance with other systems, such as HR, Payroll, and third-party applications. Design, develop, and test integrations using Workday's integration tools. Troubleshooting and Support: Identify and resolve technical issues related to Workday Finance configurations and integrations. Provide support to end-users and stakeholders and offer guidance on best practices. Testing: Conduct thorough testing of the Workday Finance system to ensure accuracy, functionality, and reliability. This includes creating test cases, executing tests, and documenting results. Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation related to Workday Finance configurations, integrations, and customizations. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest Workday features, updates, and best practices related to Finance modules. Propose and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the system. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven 5+ years of experience as a Workday Financials Technical Consultant or similar role, with hands-on experience in configuring Workday Finance modules. In-depth understanding of financial processes and best practices, along with a strong grasp of accounting principles. Proficiency in Workday's Finance modules and familiarity with Workday's overall architecture and integration tools. Experience in data migration and integration between Workday and other systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders, gather requirements, and convey technical information effectively. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and deliver results within defined timelines. Workday certifications in Finance modules will be a plus.
