Description
We are seeking an experienced Workday Consultant with a strong background in Workday implementation and HRIS (Human Resource Information System) implementation.
The ideal candidate should have 8-12 years of relevant experience and possess deep knowledge of Workday modules and functionalities.
The Workday Consultant will be responsible for leading and managing the implementation of Workday solutions for our organization, ensuring successful project delivery.
Must have:
Lead end-to-end implementation projects of Workday solutions, including gathering requirements, system configuration, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate to understand their business needs, HR processes, and goals, and translate them into Workday configurations and solutions.
Conduct comprehensive business process analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements and system optimizations.
Configure and customize Workday modules based on requirements, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the functionality and accuracy of Workday configurations.
Conduct system training sessions for end-users and prepare user documentation and training materials as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and project stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration and data migration between Workday and other systems.
Stay updated on the latest Workday releases, features, and functionalities, and provide recommendations for system enhancements or upgrades.
Serve as a subject matter expert on Workday modules and provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Nice to have:
Bachelors degree in business administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field
8-12 years of hands-on experience implementing Workday solutions, including core HR, benefits, compensation, talent management, payroll, and time tracking modules
Proven experience leading full-cycle Workday implementations, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment
Experience with integrations between Workday and other systems, such as payroll providers and time-tracking systems
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members
Desired Qualification:
Workday certification(s) in one or more modules
Experience working with multinational organizations or complex HR structures
Knowledge of Workday Prism Analytics or other reporting tools
Familiarity with Workday Extend, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), and calculated fields
Experience with data migration and data conversion activities in Workday
Prior experience in change management and user adoption strategies for Workday implementations
Strong understanding of HR compliance requirements and regulations
Experience in training end-users on Workday functionalities and conducting workshops
Ability to lead and mentor junior team members in Workday implementation projects
Demonstrated commitment to staying updated on Workday releases, attending trainings, and obtaining relevant certifications
