Job Description: Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will primarily focus on accounts payable and receivable tasks, while also contributing to other accounting functions like vendor reconciliation and journal entries. Your role will involve direct interaction with clients, making it an excellent opportunity for those seeking a client-facing accounting position. Responsibilities: Process and manage accounts payable transactions, including verification, coding, and timely payments. Handle accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies. Vendor Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliation of vendor accounts to ensure accuracy. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between vendor statements and company records. Journal Entries and General Accounting. Client Interaction- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding accounts payable and receivable inquiries. Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation. Additional Responsibilities- Contribute to the analysis of financial data and trends. Support other accounting tasks and projects as assigned. Requirements: Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong academic background in accounting or finance. 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Solid understanding of accounting principles and concepts, including journal entries and reconciliations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
