Applications are invited for filling up the following post of JRF for a project funded by Mahindra University. The details of the project and essential skillset required from the applicants are mentioned below. Description Project: Development of a Cyber Physical System for Monitoring Shop Floor Using Robots : The project involves development of remote monitoring system using sensor fusion and Internet of Things to maintain a shop floor with machines using a single robot or cobots. Essential qualification : MTech in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics and Communications, Robotics, B Tech students with strong fundamentals in the requires fields will also be considered. Desired Skillset: Experience in working on sensors, actuators and motion generation for robots, IoT, Cloud interfacing, experience of using Rpi. Programming in MATLAB & Simulink/Python/C/C++. Knowledge related to robot kinematics and dynamics. Experience in image processing and SLAM is an additional advantage.
