Business Excellence Strategy: Develop and implement a business excellence strategy aligned with MSAF overall goals and objectives. Identify areas for improvement and establish initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, quality, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance. 2. Process Improvement: Lead process improvement initiatives throughout the organization, utilizing methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement frameworks. Analyze existing processes, identify bottlenecks, and develop and implement solutions to optimize productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall process efficiency. 3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Define and establish key performance indicators for various business functions and processes within MSAF. Monitor and track performance against these KPIs, analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and communicate progress and results to senior management. 4. Quality Management Systems: Implement and maintain robust quality management systems in line with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. Drive a culture of quality excellence throughout the organization, ensuring adherence to quality policies and procedures, and promoting continuous improvement in product and service quality. 5. Customer Satisfaction: Develop strategies and programs to measure and improve customer satisfaction. Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to gather feedback, identify customer needs, and implement initiatives to enhance customer experience and strengthen relationships with key clients. 6. Continuous Learning and Development: Identify skill gaps and training needs within the organization related to business excellence. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employees' knowledge and skills in process improvement, quality management, and business excellence practices. Promote a culture of continuous learning and development. 7. Benchmarking and Best Practices: Conduct benchmarking activities to identify industry best practices and opportunities for improvement. Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in MSAF and implement relevant best practices to enhance operational efficiency, product quality, and customer satisfaction. 8. Change Management: Lead and support change management initiatives within the organization, ensuring smooth implementation of process improvements and business excellence initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive adoption and embed changes into the organizational culture. 9. Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to extract insights and trends, measure performance, and support decision-making processes. Prepare and present regular reports on business excellence initiatives, progress, and outcomes to senior management. 10. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and suppliers, to drive business excellence initiatives. Foster positive relationships, engage stakeholders, and seek their input and support for continuous improvement initiatives. Preferred candidate profile : Analytical skills, Ethics, Transparency, Approachability, Decision Making, Approachability, Leadership skills, Problem solving & Self Improvement/reflection Typically, candidates who are in business excellence, process improvement, or related roles within the steel manufacturing industry. Proven track record in driving operational excellence, quality improvement, and customer satisfaction. Strong knowledge and experience in utilizing process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement frameworks.
