Description

A Store officer keeps track of information in order to keep businesses and supply chains on schedule. They ensure proper scheduling, record keeping, and inventory control. In general, the job-oriented professional is responsible for the smooth process implementation and activities in the stores and day to day activities in store, the detection and resolution of problems and the delivery or satisfactory outcomes to the Management. Roles and Responsibilities Maintains work flow by monitoring stores; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within stores control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments. Perform verification of Materials with respect of production output according to specifications given by the Management. Completes inventory plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress of receivable; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow of materials on shift production summaries. ensure departmental requirement to be completed in time and to budget and that quality standards and targets are met. Check opening Stocks as per Reports on daily basis specially running items. Verify all the incoming material according to SOP/ISO Standard. Prepare bills/Good Receipt PO of incoming material and submit to accounts. Verify all the last day activity (In/Out) & rectify the error if any. Ensure the implementation of Inventory management system. Train the subordinate/team on ISO/ company Sops. Strong coordination with team, user departments. Analysis the aging of stocks & communicate the management about obsolete Stock. Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards. Detect issues in efficiency and suggest improvements. Making improvements to current operations to enhance efficiency through cycle time improvement, reduction of changeover time. Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing change. Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies. Knowledge of time TPM/TQM/KAIZEN/SIX SIGMA, SMED, 5S, ROA, ROP, ROQ, OEE, QC, Tact time, production cycle etc. will be added advantage. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Prepare reports on performance and progress and present them to senior managers work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals Desired Candidate Profile Any Bachelors Degree or with experience of handling store in Manufacturing Automotive Industry or any other related field or Industry. Knowledge of SAP Module have added advantage. Industry Experience 3-6 years Knowledge of computer competence, including database management Knowledge of Store terminology, methods and technique Analytical problem solving and decision-making skills.
