Job Description Job Description Trainee is an individual who participates in implementation/development/support projects and deliver them within stipulated timeframe. Trainee would undergo training in SAP functional Modules over a period of time and shall be deployed onto real time projects. Trainee will be involved in application development, unit testing, and report development under supervision. Trainees are expected to work as an individual contributor after certain period of training and shadow period. Responsibilities Upskill in relevant SAP Functional skills as per training plan and demonstrate effectiveness out of those trainings in form of POC, shadowing senior resource, delivering pilot projects. The candidate should also be willing to do independent research on the job. Handing over day to day learning progress, status of assigned tasks. Understand the values and vision of the Practice and Organization and align the activities accordingly. Protect the Intellectual Property. Adhere to all the policies and procedures. Support the onsite consulting team of experts for all relevant aspects of development work and coordination with remote development teams Capable of performing technical activities beyond coding. Capable of building trust and acting as trusted adviser to the customer Able to manage customer expectations and avoid any escalations Ability to comprehend and envisage appropriate actions Participate in practice initiatives, showing innovation, sharing knowledge and enhancing reusability Essential Skills Job Excellent communication skills are essential. Good team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, interpersonal skills, customer handling capabilities. Should be organized and focused on delivering research tasks within defined deadlines Must be dynamic, flexible and possess perseverance skills Excellent coding skills and logical skills are essential, open to learn and excel. Should be well trained on Programming/ basic working knowledge in SAP. Knowledge on FICO/SD/MM/PPQM. Must have good understanding of business processes related to SAP. Personal Should have understanding of business objectives and organization structure The candidate must have strong work ethics, trustworthiness and self-confidence The candidate should work accurately with good attention to detail by maintaining confidentiality and integrity Must be highly collaborative and team oriented with commitment to excellence Preferred Skills Job Self-motivated, fast learner with the ability to operate independently Ability to thrive in a cross-functional team on business-critical projects Trained on SAP functional concepts will be added advantage. Should have expert knowledge of database management systems Should have good understanding on Programming for SAP Functional Modules. Certification in FICO/ MM/SD/PPQM is an added advantage. Personal Ability to work under pressure to achieve the multiple daily deadlines for client deliverables, with a mature approach Negotiation and persuasion skills are required to work with partners and implement changes Positive attitude, willing to extend and open for challenges.
