As the Agile Coach/Chief Scrum Master, you will help grow and transform our Agile landscape. You will guide and mentor multiple Scrum Masters, product managers, product development teams and managers on Agile principles and practices across the organization. You will demonstrate the courage to challenge and advise teams and stakeholders, including senior leadership, enable teams to realize objectives and deliver on KPIs, assess and enhance Agile maturity of teams, and effectively integrate both internal and external learnings necessary to reinforce Agile growth. You will leverage your expertise to build, coach and mentor multiple high-performing teams that are solution and goal driven.
As an Agile Coach and Chief Scrum Master, you will be involved in managing multiple release trains with multiple product lines. You will leverage proven frameworks and drive the appropriate Agile methodology to focus on predictable, quality delivery and drive continuous improvement in the teams. You will mentor, monitor and help remove impediments that obstruct the program s goals, and preserve the product teams ability to rapidly respond to change. We are looking for an experienced and certified SAFe Agilist to fill the role of Release Train Engineer (RTE)/Agile Coach working with the portfolio, ART, and team level. The RTE/Agile Coach will impart agile and lean principles and practices, partner with internal change agents and guide Agile Release Trains (ARTs) in a SAFe environment.
What You Will Do:
Facilitate and be the face of the ART in PI Planning sessions.
As a servant leader and change agent, coach Scrum Masters, individuals, and teams across a large or complex business area to adopt Agile principles, values and practices while role modeling Travelers leadership behaviors.
Understand and support implementation of metrics to optimize delivery of KPIs through the assessment of responsiveness, quality, productivity, and customer and business value.
Support coordination of delivery across multiple teams all on the same delivery cadence
Coach Scrum master s to grow into the RTE role.
Escalate impediments and/or issues that may contribute to delays or missed delivery of commitments.
Support facilitation of PI planning readiness - preparation of Vision and backlogs
Drive continuous improvement by effectively facilitating ART Syncs, Demos, and Inspect and Adapt sessions. Run workshops and training on Agile topics, leveraging tool kits and internally developed content.
Collaborate with other RTEs and Suppliers to coordinate dependencies.
Continuously assess the Agile maturity of teams and individuals at all levels of leadership, educating and mentoring to address gaps.
Responsible for embedding an agile culture using techniques from a wide range of agile and SAFe methodologies and frameworks and help develop release train plans that deliver high quality business centric products to our customers.
Administration of agile tools for tracking and collaboration for the teams.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need:
At least 7 years of experience in working Technology Delivery (software).
At least 7 Years of Agile experience utilizing Scrum, Kanban or SAFe methodologies.
At least 3 years of people management experience.
3+ years of PI planning experience.
Minimum 15 years of full-time education

Industry Recognized CAC (Certified Agile Coach) and Scrum Master certification.
SAFe 5.1 or 6.0 Program Consultant (SPC) Certification a plus.
Will report to a senior level engineer or technical manager and has no direct reports.
The work environment will primarily be an air-conditioned office setting requiring the employee to sit for prolonged periods while concentrating on a computer screen.
