Role & responsibilities
Cybersecurity Architect role is responsible for designing and implementing robust security solutions to protect an organization's information systems and digital assets from cyber threats.
Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives and risk tolerance
Design and create the organization's overall security architecture, including network security, cloud security, application security, and data security
Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security weaknesses and prioritize mitigation efforts
Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices
Research, evaluate, and recommend security technologies, tools, and vendors to enhance the organization's security posture
Ensure that the organization complies with relevant cybersecurity regulations, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or industry-specific standards
Oversee the implementation of security projects and initiatives, working closely with other IT and business teams
Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish governance frameworks
Review business/customer context, analyze and produce Solution ideation, Solution designing, Implementation possibilities/approaches of the target systems - Secure communication and Secure IT Systems
Provide Subject Matter Expertise for all Security technologies with heavy participation in key decision-making processes for the acquisition of current/new technologies
Demonstrate a consultative approach to strategic decisions with a particular emphasis on design and delivery
Ability to be flexible, decision oriented, and motivated to support management initiatives
Provide advanced troubleshooting and problem solving with a wide variety of client/user issues and act as an escalation point for Security related issues
Participate Vendor and Alliance management activities
Participate Pre-Sales (RFP/RFI/RFQ) activities for all the Network & Security proposals
Participate GTM activities create collaterals, and other required documents
Provide consultation service to support new Service Requests / Intake Process
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's or masters degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
15+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles, including hands-on experience in security architecture and design
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001).
Proficiency in security technologies and tools, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, IDAM, Vulnerability, Threat Management, EDR, Zero Trust Security, Cloud Security and encryption solutions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Relevant certifications may be beneficial, such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or other industry-specific certifications.
Excellent in Microsoft (PowerPoint, excel, word)
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
