Some key responsibilities include: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential customers Reach out to potential clients through cold-calling, emailing, and networking Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients Prepare and present proposals and sales pitches to potential clients Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure client satisfaction and business growth Monitor industry trends and market changes to make recommendations to the management team Prepare reports on business development activities and results Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships and gather market intelligence. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and experience with sales or business development
