Description
Arivon is looking for Technical Writer who is strong in documenting networking-related products.
Bachelors or Masters Degree in English, Mass Communications, Engineering, or Computer Science and good 2-4 years of experience in technical documentation.
Comfortable working at a command line to install or configure products.
Verify documentation through hands-on testing.
Experience with at least one authoring tool such as Markdown, DITA-XML, HTML, or Adobe FrameMaker.
Must have experience working on asciidoc.
A persistent researcher and quick learner who can turn up useful information from engineering specifications, bug tracking systems, or the product codebase.
Familiar with software development tools and concepts, such as, source code management and continuous integration systems.
Work closely with engineering, product, and support teams to gather and validate information relevant to our customers.
Turn complex technical concepts into easily understandable text and illustrations.
Review and edit documents for thoroughness.
