Description
A successful Workday Developer will be performing the below responsibilities:
Manage vendor interfaces, including integration processing, monitoring, error identification, and resolution
Work directly with key business stakeholders to confirm/document requirements, consider design alternatives, facilitate discussions, and ultimately drive requirements to sign off.
Analyze existing integrations or formulates new logic for new integrations, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding, and tests/debugs integrations
Develop implementation plans for Workday updates
Create detailed system interface specs, field mapping, and system process designs where appropriate. Develop, test, and deploy integrations and/or reports required to meet business requirements.
Assist with assigned system and security administration functions, process flow documentation and process change requests
Evaluate, communicate, and coordinate the technical impacts of application configuration decisions
Communicate status accurately and escalate concerns to project management
Enable Workday report writing, including Matrix and composite reports
Additional responsibilities and HRIS support based on business requirements
What You May Need to be Successful:
3-5 years of global HR systems experience in a public organization
2+ years of experience in HRIS
Integration experience with ERP software
Experience designing and building Workday integrations using Core Connector, Cloud Connector, Report Designer, Workday Studio
Human Resource, Payroll or Financial Software application experience
XML, XSLT experience
Proficiency in SOAP-based and REST Web Services and SOA design principles
Requires practical experience with ETL tools and/or Data Integration products
Workday or other SaaS HCM integration experience
Middleware experience (WebLogic, WebSphere, WebMethods)
EDI, Java, JSON, BIRT, .Net or other integration technologies preferred
Experience with the full lifecycle of both implementations and upgrades
