Roles: SAP ABAP, SAP Archiving. • Configuration of SAP Archiving Objects • Hands on experience on managing the Transactional and Master Data [Customer, Vendor and Material Master data ] pertaining to Finance, Material Management, Sales, and Distribution. • Should have exposure working on DaRT and other 3rd part tools. • Exposure on managing Data Volume Management [DVM] Displaying segment catalog and field catalog. • Working knowledge on Extracting data, displaying extract log, deleting data extracts, merging data extracts, rebuilding data extracts, data extract browser, data extract views and displaying view log. • Identifying data environment of view data, Data extract splitter, Displaying extract splitter log, Evaluating checksums and control totals, Verifying FI control totals • Scheduling DART background jobs • Storing extracts in the storage system via Archive Link interface • Connection to the Schedule Manager • Manage/enable automated destruction once the retention time expired. • Ability to manage File Directories to determine the data to be captured. • ABAP related expertise- core SAP ABAP classical, Interactive and ALV reports, Data conversions from legacy to SAP System using BDC and LSMW, worked on SAP Smart Forms, SAP Scripts and Module Pool Programming, • Good Working knowledge in RFC, Web Dynpro, BAPI, User Exits, Data Dictionary. • Expertise in Data Modeling- Attributes Views, Analytical Views, Calculation Views, Store procedure business rules into decision tree and Analytical Privileges. • Consolidate and compress previous FY DART extracts in preparation for the present FY Dart Extract • Variant creation based on LSMW worksheet for previous FY and archive object targets for the current archive objects. • Update and test Retention Periods for the current archive objects and prepare transport documentation to move to production to support Information Management Lifecycle (ILM) automation. • Variant/Job creation based on LAMW worksheet for a particular year DART Extracts • Create a DaRT report for each available area to add to documentation for business support. • Exposure on Security Archiving - Test and implement SAP recommended 3 GRC configuration changes to minimize growth for Data Volume Management
