Main Accountabilities: Design dashboards and visuals to better represent data to convey trends and patterns Peer/quality review and testing of newly developed dashboards prior deployment to production Analyse and troubleshoot Tableau Desktop and Server issues from stakeholders across the company and recommend dashboard optimizations for best performance Create, Manage Groups, Workbooks and Projects, Database Views, Data Sources and Data Connections. Set up a governance process around Tableau dashboard processes. Strong query skills using SQL, understanding of data extraction mechanisms and data warehousing concepts Change management including software, hardware upgrades, patches Monitor server activity usage statistics to identify possible performance issues enhancements Performance tuning Server management of tableau server environment (clustering, Load balancing). Good to have knowledge on base SAS and VBA Macros Support for dashboards in production performance tuning of dashboards to improve refresh rate and load time support and root cause analysis in case of quality issues and downtime Ad hoc support related to live reports and dashboards perform manual refresh and maintenance of dashboards that are not yet automated Essential Skills: 5+ years of experience in BI role working specifically with Business Community producing analytical reports dashboards using Tableau 2+ years of experience on using Python and understand basics of predictive modelling OR 2+ years of working experience on Denodo and on creating dimensional models Strong development skills in Tableau and data analytics and visualizations Tableau Admin and Support Activities along with Deployments.
