Agilysis is looking for a Workday Functional Finance Lead to join our growing Workday Practice. You will work on one or more clients in undertaking Phase X porjects, enhancements, and AMS support. Job Duties: Collaborate with key Finance, Accounting, Procurement and other business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements and propose scalable solutions that leverage full potential of Workday Serve as the Workday Finance SME on a variety of projects of various sizes. Perform product demonstrations for proof-of-concepts. Assist in the troubleshooting production issues and propose solutions. Working with broader Finance team to constantly improve usability and resolve root causes. Support bi-yearly product releases with the business users. Train business users on bi-annual Workday releases and new or enhanced feature deployments. Coordinate internal system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to facilitate effective and organized issue resolution. This includes training of UAT participants on the application and/or process change, and management of all phases of testing for the team & supported applications. Design test plans, including definition of test cases and the creation of detailed solution test scripts. Work with other teams and vendors to explore methods for automation of testing. Consult on the integration of systems into the Workday environment Assist in the development of change management, communication and training plans Skills and Qualifications: At least 3 years of Workday Finance experience required Strong understanding of Workday financials functional areas. Should have strong expertise in one of the three areas: Report to Report, Procure to Pay, Contract to Cash and sufficient knowledge of the other two Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting, along with Workday Security and integrations needed Ability to interact with executive level stakeholders, manage expectations, provide regular updates and conduct steering committee meetings. Excellent communication skills. Excellent writing skills for generating clear, concise release notes and documentation Experience in requirements gathering, fit gap analysis, design, test case creation within Workday Must be a self-starter, able to work independently with a proactive working style Strong analytical capabilities to identify and tackle problems proactively, research and present multiple solutions to problems.
