Job Title: Technical Writer Location : Baner, Pune Joining : Immediate Job Description: A Technical Writer would be responsible for creating, editing, and managing technical documentation, manuals, and guides for a variety of technical products or services. They work closely with technical and engineering teams to develop user-friendly documentation that communicates complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner. Key Responsibilities: Develop technical documentation: This includes: - Design documentation with figures - Scope of Work - Minutes of Meeting - Release Notes - Release Progress - User Manual - Product Manual - Training guides, and other technical documentation. Collaborate with technical teams: Work closely with technical and engineering teams to gather information, review technical specifications, and ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Review and edit documentation: Review and edit technical documentation for grammar, style, and accuracy. Ensure that documentation adheres to company standards and is consistent across all materials. Manage documentation: Organize and manage technical documentation, including version control, distribution, and archiving. Research and gather information: Research and gather information from various sources to ensure that documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Develop content: Develop content for marketing and website that is easy to understand and use, using a variety of formats such as diagrams, charts, and images. Update documentation: Ensure that documentation is kept up-to-date with changes in technology, software, or product updates. Qualifications (Education and Experience): 3+ years of professional experience Experience in technical writing, preferably in the software or technology industry. Strong writing and editing skills, including the ability to write in a clear and concise manner. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other technical writing tools. Experience with graphic design and visual communication is a plus. Skills and Capabilities (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with documentation management systems and version control. Understanding of technical concepts and ability to translate them into user-friendly language. Reports to: Top Management
