Job Overview:
As Technical Writer, you shall be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation that is clear, concise, and user-friendly. You will work closely with subject matter experts, developers, and other stakeholders to gather information and transform it into high-quality documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and understand technical concepts, processes, and features.
Create and maintain documentation for software applications, hardware systems, and other technical products, including user manuals, installation guides, and SRS documentation.
Play a crucial role in Business Proposal Creation
Ensure documentation complies with industry standards and best practices and is accessible to a diverse audience, including end-users, system administrators, and developers.
Review and edit existing documentation to improve clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
Work closely with development, product management, and quality assurance teams to stay informed about product changes and updates.
Participate in the development and maintenance of a documentation style guide and templates.
Conduct research and gather information independently to supplement input from subject matter expert
Skills/ knowledge or experience:
Self-motivated with a proven track record in enterprise solutions on virtualised or cloud technologies.
Organised and analytical.
Able to work to a project schedule and able to handle multiple priorities.
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and visuals.
Familiarity with industry-standard documentation tools, such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio
Experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Good knowledge of Business Process Modelling, UML diagrams preferably Flowcharts and Workflows
Excellent PowerPoint Presentation Skills
Good to have:
Certification in Technical Writing or a related field.
Knowledge of Warehouse and Logistics Industry Operations, Data Capturing, Barcoding,
Supply Chain, .NET Framework, SQL.
