Description
Overall Required to research, write, edit or revise technical documentation for a project, various engineering disciplines or business unit under minimal supervision. May also be required to provide writing
assistance to other members of project or business teams.
Performs review and editing of technical documents, applies markups to digital documents, executes technical writing and follows WorleyParsons and Client processes and procedures. Adheres to standards of quality, graphics, format and style by using established conventions.
Strong focus on quality review and checking of work of self and others for clear, consistent, concise, complete, compliant and correct deliverables.
Collaborates with document authors, project management, project administrators and other departments to meet Client, Project or business deadlines, either in person or through electronic communication.
Organization and prioritization of assignments and taking initiative to follow through on pending items. Assists in coordinating specific document production schedules by working with other Technical Writer/Editors, authors/requesters, and required Technical Publications resources. Serves as part of a functional team to complete assignments according to schedule.
Provides input to project or discipline specific document templates and standards. Makes recommendations and supports continuous improvement.
Previous technical writing editing experience.
Industry Specific Experience:
2 to 4 years of technical writing and editing experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or oil and gas environment. Exposure to Global
