Prepare Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) by collaborating with development teams and understanding user needs.
Consolidate user requirements and translate them into comprehensive technical documentation.
Create Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) and Use Case Diagrams to visually represent system architecture and functionality.
Utilize technical writing software tools to craft user-friendly and accurate documentation.
Develop content for web pages, ensuring it's informative and engaging.
Apply web design basics to enhance the readability and aesthetics of web content.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and maintain documentation accuracy.
Familiarity with software development lifecycles to document and explain different project phases.
Proficiency in technical writing software tools (e.g., Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, RoboHelp).
Strong knowledge of Ms-Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Understanding of software development lifecycles.
Basic knowledge of web design fundamentals.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to organize and consolidate complex information into clear, concise, and well-structured documents.
Experience in creating DFDs and Use Case Diagrams is a plus.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) is advantageous.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Technical Writer with a portfolio of previous work.
Certifications in technical writing or related areas are a plus.
