Description
- We are looking for a persuasive senior medical marketing representative to promote and sell company's medical products to doctors, pharmacists, and other relevant healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities :
- Demonstrating, presenting, and selling medications and products to healthcare staff including doctors, pharmacists in the retail sector, and other relevant healthcare professionals.
- Attending and organising training sessions, conferences, and sales meetings.
- Scheduling and arranging appointments with doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling, to promote company medications.
- Setting clear objectives and developing strategies for each account to drive penetration and growth.
- Establishing good rapport with Internal/external decision markers
- Establishing sound understanding of customer needs, challenges, competition, key trends
- Regularly attending company meetings, technical data presentations and briefings.
- Keeping up to date with the latest product data provided by the company, and interpreting, presenting and discussing this data with health professionals during presentations.
- Demonstrate and develop personal capabilities in thinking about, acting on and achieving business objectives in a manner that goes beyond just the sales call.
Qualifications and Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, life sciences, or related field.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years sales experience in pharmaceutical/medical device industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint applications.
- Possess a valid driving license and own a vehicle to commute.
- Opportunities occur throughout India, but the job usually involves responsibility for a particular geographical area.
- Familiarity with databases, statistics, product lines, and latest medical issues.
