As SCM (Supply Chain Management) and EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) lead personnel, who will be responsible for establishing and Managing the Purchase activities, creating long-term contracts and managing EMS partners Create the company s supply chain strategy and work closely with RD electronics product development team, engineering team and EMS partners to ensure meeting the product timeline Must have prior experience in SCM / Purchase for electronics products and EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) vendor management. Good in planning, communication and follow up of vendors for components and material procurements. Should have good understanding of electronics components procurements, MFR coding, electrical accessories and mechanical parts from the domain of Industrial, Automotive / Medical. Good understanding of components lead-time and alternate approach. 5. Establish new suppliers and EMS partners for our Printed Electronics parts/Assy with good n egotiation and analytical skills. Assess the vendor manufacturing capacity, quality and compliances. The individual will be responsible for preparing POs in SAP system and tracking. Maintaining and preparation of documents related to ISO/IATF/TS/Audits etc. To support and assist Management by providing necessary data as and when required. Co-ordination with Stores department for inventory and stock controlling. Reconciliation of supplier payments with coordination with finance/accounts department. EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) Able to solve basic set of EQ (Engineering queries) received from EMS partners. Analyse data from shipping and delivery processes to find bottlenecks and other issues in advance meeting the project deadline with defined forecast. Maintain supply chain inventory and records and order the materials in advance at certain situations in line with project timeline and allocated budget. Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes. Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth. Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors throughout the production workflow with regular updates. Working with direct component manufacturer in some cases to help in component sourcing. Able to understand the files to be exchanged between our RD team and EMS partners. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION Bachelor s degree in electrical Electronics / Electronics Communication with 12-15 years of experience in supply chain of Electronics components and mechanical parts.
