Accounts for coding and abstracting of patient encounters, including diagnostic and procedural information, significant reportable elements, and complications. Researches and analyzes data needs for reimbursement. Analyzes medical records and identifies documentation deficiencies. Serves as resource and subject matter expert to other coding staff.
