About the internship
As a research intern, you will be responsible for exploring investment opportunities, conducting deal execution research, due diligence, financial and industry analysis, and preparing investment memorandums. Additionally, you will coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts, participate in necessary investment meetings, and prepare reports and projections based on your analysis. You should be goal-oriented and a fast learner. You will also be responsible for performing regular and ad-hoc assigned responsibilities and duties related to the division's managerial and operational requirements.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Work on exploring investment opportunities and connecting with founders and investors
2. Conduct deal execution research, due diligence, as well as financial and industry analysis
3. Prepare investment memorandums
4. Work on preparing financial models and pitch decks
5. Prepare reports and projections based on the analysis
6. Coordinate with other team members as required
7. Participate in necessary investment meetings and events
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in any field (finance background is a plus)
2. Critical and independent thinking
3. Well-organized, knows how to stay on top of communication and confidential document
4. Excellent MS Office skills - Excel, Word, and PPT
