Description

Main deliverables (working closely with and supporting the Deputy Head in respect of): Support corporate restructuring and strategic finance initiatives. Assist in research, structuring exercises, valuation projects, M&A initiatives aligned with Trents overall strategy. Support and assist in capital raising initiatives – equity/debt Aligning internal stakeholders with the objectives, purpose and scope of strategic finance initiatives, including supporting Board approvals, governance elements etc Owning and delivering statutory and regulatory compliances emerging from and relating to the strategic finance initiatives Coordinating with external consultants, law firms and any subject matter experts to obtain validation assurance and alternate options relating to the initiatives. Additional deliverables: Support and assist with the finalization of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (stand alone/consolidated) of Trent Limited and its group entities. IND AS research relating to accounting pronouncements, exposure drafts issued by ICAI, IFRS related developments, SEBI accounting conventions etc Support and facilitate the statutory audits, tax audits, IFC audits etc relating to SEBI LODR, Companies Act and other relevant regulatory compliances relating to financial reporting obligations of Trent Subsidiary/ JV/Associate companies of Trent - financial statements review, MIS review, budgeting support, forecasting support. Co-ordinate with other functions / departments and auditors to deliver on the above responsibilities. Assisting in the preparations relating to financial and business performance relating to subsidiary companies for being presented to the Board of these Companies. Team development: Nurture and build a team of capable and talented finance professionals Own team development and skill enhancement initiatives
