Job Purpose The R2R Specialist / Senior Specialist manages quality services to Sandoz Group entities by providing accurate and timely reporting of the financial transactions relating to GL accounting, Reporting/Systems, Fixed Assets and Inter-company. Support in the process harmonization and continuous improvements projects to provide an effective and efficient end-to-end process. Ensure appropriate compliance to IFRS, statutory and Sandoz standards and polices are in place through proper systems, documentation and reporting. Major Accountabilities Performance Management and Service Delivery: Provides services at expected levels with a clear customer focus and escalates exceptions Interacts proactively within the GCC and cross-functionally to ensure appropriate actions were taken Co-ordinates with local entity, GCC and outsourced activities to provide a seamless service Ensures operational excellence and full alignment with all Sandoz business, compliance and audit requirements. Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for related policies and processes Challenge the Status Quo, making fact based recommendations Supports the measurement and delivery of service levels and KPI targets Corresponds to internal and external inquiries Manage day-to-day activities: Performs the period end closing and reporting incl. assessment of the accruals and provisions Ensures overall accounting and reporting activities are correct, exceptions are promptly resolved & accounting entries are promptly and accurately posted Performs the balance sheet reconciliations of accounts and ensure timely resolution and either clean-up or follow-up on identified overdue items Review accounts to ensure accurate recording in SAP and FCRS reporting, variance analysis of accounting data and plausibility checks using different sources of information Ensures proper accounting of financial transactions such as journal entry review and adequacy of supporting documentations Assures the creation and maintenance of adequate accounting records to meet the requirements of local legislation and Sandoz required standards Compliance: Ensure accurate accounting, and financial reporting are in line with Sandoz standards and policies Ensure all processes, policies and procedures are clearly defined, fully documented, in line with Sandoz standards and consistent with best practices as well as aligned with Finance Core (where applicable) Ensure compliance with Sandoz Accounting Manual (SAM) and regulatory requirements and implementation in internal guidelines Ensure application of agreed Sandoz control procedures as per Sandoz Financial Controls Framework (SFCF) and actively support to deliver SOX certification Promotes a strong and control environment and follow up on audit issues or FC&C reviews, and support implement recommendations and remediation plans People Management: Actively support GCC working style by being inclusive, proactive, respectful, and results driven in alignment with Sandoz Values and Behaviours Acts service oriented to enable service lines to deliver a high-performing organization and contributes to derive to improvements/standard solutions Key Performance Indicators No High rated audit observation and timely implementation of remediation plans Stable services including a number of business processes standardized/Deliver business benefits and productivity improvements as per target Stable services incl. those of outsourced operations, no control issues Convergence ratio for Finance core systems and processes Met operational R2R KPIs Bachelor of Commerce, CA/CPA/MBA Finance or Equivalent • Lean/ Six Sigma Certified preferred Languages: • Excellent English (written and spoken) Experience: (minimum/desirable) • 3+ years of Financial experience, with functional expertize • Ability to work effectively in a multi-national, matrix organization • SAP knowledge • Project management / Process improvements • Big 4 audit firm or Industry experience company name : Sandoz Location : Hyderabad 1 year contract and will be extended based on performance share resumes to [email protected]
