Our client is a global company in the fintech sector that has been formed as a JV between two world leaders one, a global giant in the derivatives space and second, a world leader in financial research and analytics.
The new company is being formed by merging two entities, both of which are highly profitable companies with a combined track record of 80 years. Our client will be creating products that focus on the entire post-trade spectrum of activities in the global financial market. Their existing products will be re-positioned with the latest technologies.
This company will work in the area of derivatives and OTC products, which are the most complex parts of the financial market. The company is laying the foundations of a great culture and the space to build a great organization. Principal Accountabilities:
Actively participates in Salesforces development, testing, training, integration, change control, and acceptance processes.
Manage identification, prioritization, execution, and communication on User stories across product lines. Work with end users to translate business needs into requirements for Salesforce solutions. Ask the question behind the question to uncover real business needs.
Execute solution design activities using standard Salesforce functionality, including reports and dashboards, custom objects and fields, validation rules, automation, approval processes, and customized page layouts.
Create, implement, deploy, and maintain Salesforce solutions using declarative customization (Lightning Components, visual flow, workflow, custom objects, fields, validation rules, etc.).
Create and distribute documentation to close out the release- what worked, what didnt, lessons learned, etc.
Ensure data quality through cleanup efforts (monthly reporting, lead clean up, etc.).
Ensure that designs meet requirements, and sign-off is obtained.
Provide best practice guidance to the global user community and team members to enhance and increase their knowledge of Salesforce.com.
Maintain system metrics to track usage and data integrity trends, identify SF.com usage problems, and craft technical/communication plans to remedy them.
Review and analyze requirements to design a solution utilizing standard features, custom declarative development, third-party apps, or a combination.
Manage ongoing support requests and administrative needs of users.
The Job
You will have 10-14 years experience of Salesforce development to meet the needs of our expanding portfolio of Financial Services clients. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team based out of Gurgaon and to work with colleagues across multiple regions globally.
5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Development.
Experience with Integration between Salesforce and Google WS, Jira, Workday, and Microsoft Identity & Authorization.
Deep understanding of and hands-on experience with all aspects of declarative customization (e.g., Workflows & Approval Process, Visual Flow, tasks, events, Email Services, Security Controls, Objects, relationships, and junction objects such as Master-Child, lookups, and Entity Relationship).
Deep understanding of and hands-on experience with all aspects of Salesforce custom development techniques on the Force.com platform (Apex, Triggers, Visualforce, Batch processes, SOQL, Governor Limits, etc.).
Good understanding of using ETL Tools such as Informatica, MuleSoft, Apex Data Loader, Workbench, etc.
Extensive experience with SOQL, SOSL, data manipulation, cleaning, and de - duplication.
Deep-level understanding of the salesforce setup, features, and functionality. e.g., permission model (roles, profiles, permission sets). Custom objects, validation rules, master-detail relationships, record types, and page layout assignments. Reports and dashboards. Workflow rules, tasks, and alerts.
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I required.
Experience with Apex design patterns and object-oriented programming best practices
Experience with Salesforce integration patterns and implementing these patterns will be an advantage.
