We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and dedicated individual to join our team as a Permanent Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the design, build, and implementation of a variety of engineering projects. This role requires a strong understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), and expertise in dealing with federal, healthcare, and industrial sectors. The position involves a high degree of collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, so excellent communication and team management skills are essential.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the design, build, and implementation of various engineering projects, ensuring that all aspects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
Report and escalate to management as needed.
Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a project management role, preferably in the engineering industry.
Proven experience with MEP, Design, Build, IPD, Federal, Healthcare, and Industrial sectors.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in project management software tools.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
