Qualification: Any Graduation (Life science is preferred) Certification: CPC/CCS/CIC Job Description - Comply with all legal requirements regarding coding procedures and practices Conduct audits and coding reviews to ensure all documentation is accurate and precise Assign and sequence all codes for services rendered- ICD-10, CPTs, HCPCS Hands-on experience in any of the Encoder tools specific to Hospital coding Writing physician queries in compliance with Coding regulations Should be able to disseminate client/coding updates to the team in an individualistic and understandable manner Should be able to identify pain areas and training needs independently Should have ownership mindset with respect to the auditing and ensuring quality is never compensated.
