Job Role: Regulatory Compliance & Internal Audit Specialist; Employment matter & Litigation Specialists.
Responsibilities:
1. Regulatory Compliance:
a) Stay abreast of relevant laws and regulations affecting the IT industry.
b) Develop and implement compliance strategies to mitigate risks.
c) Conduct periodic internal audits to assess adherence to regulatory requirements.
d) (Employment law knowledge global. Have handled employment matters)
2. Contractual Compliance:
a) Review and analyze contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards.
b) Collaborate with various departments to ensure contractual obligations are met.
c) Provide guidance on contract interpretation and negotiation.
3. Internal Audit:
a) Plan and execute internal audits to assess operational efficiency.
b) Identify areas for process improvement and risk mitigation.
c) Produce comprehensive audit reports with actionable recommendations.
4. Policy Development:
a) Contribute to the development and enhancement of company policies.
b) Educate employees on compliance policies and procedures.
5. Collaboration:
a) Work closely with HR, finance, and other departments to address compliance issues.
b) Provide guidance to project teams on compliance matters as and when required.
c) Represent the Company in external client audits.
6. Qualifications:
a) Bachelors and/or Masters degree in law from a recognized university. A CS qualification is an advantage by not mandatory. Lawyer pursuing CS professional can also be considered.
b) 4-6 years of experience in regulatory/compliance roles, preferably in the IT industry.
