Job Purpose / summary
Provide Financial Accounting support for India entity, focusing on G/L integrity, statutory and taxation compliance and global finance project support.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end to end fixed assets accounting, working on Capex, CWIP to Capitalization & sale/transfer transactions.
Participate in month-end & year end closing activities related to record to reporting.
Monthly review of financials with commentary over variances for Balance Sheet and P&L
Post Journal entries for accruals, prepaid, payroll cost, etc.
Contribute during the Statuary audit, Internal and tax audit provide support in adhering to timelines
Manage compliance with respect to Indirect tax coordinating with consultant to get GSTR monthly and annual compliances done.
Manage compliance with respect to direct tax coordinating with consultant to get Advance tax, TDS, Income tax return filed.
Assist in preparation and filing of NSTPI compliances & FEMA related compliance.
Facilitate clear communication with stakeholders and participate during monthly close meetings.
Adhoc tasks, Simplification & Automation Projects.
Key responsibilities
Required Skills & experience
Qualification and experience: CA with 0 to 2 years of experience
Work experience-
Strong technical accounting skills and practical knowledge of the principles of financial accounting and accounting standards.
Proven experience in external audit liaison/management in a multi-entity organization
Ability to apply critical thinking and a problem-solving mindset to the financial and non-financial functions
Accounting Software knowledge (Blackline/Oracle/Hyperion )
Ability to communicate strongly and influence without authority
Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision
Ability to build successful relationships across the organization through collaboration, consensus building and interpersonal effectiveness
Flexibility and good team player
Multi stake holder management
IS Experience:
Good excel skills
Hands on experience - SAP
Working Hours:
10:30 AM to 7:30 PM (Day light saving)
