We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our institution as an IELTS and English Communication Faculty member. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English language teaching, specifically focusing on IELTS preparation and enhancing communication skills. Role & responsibilities Delivering course curriculum in classroom and/or online, which includes ensuring student awareness of course objectives, approach and evaluation techniques and planning lectures pertaining to core aspects of discipline with industrial relevance. Developing e-learning content for the LMS incorporating technology into the learning process. • Encouraging students to actively participate throughout the class, field activity and on job training/apprenticeships. Assisting in assessing the skill gaps among students and align interventions for upgradation from time to time. Facilitate, evaluate and monitor the students performance during field project, awareness programmes, and On Job Training at Industry. Supporting in establishing/designing labs / workshops and conducting lab sessions in consultation with prestigious Industry / Knowledge Partners, R&D centres. Participating in developmental role like brand promotion, resource mobilization, conducting seminars/ workshops, sports, extracurricular activities, assessing Library requirements, and organizing foundation course- planning, and other outreach activities. 1. IELTS Preparation: Design and deliver comprehensive IELTS preparation courses targeting various modules (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking). Develop and utilize effective teaching methodologies, materials, and resources to aid students in achieving high scores. 2. English Communication Skills: Conduct classes to enhance students' overall English communication skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Create engaging activities and exercises to improve fluency, pronunciation, and comprehension. 3. Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the academic team to develop and update course curricula aligned with the latest IELTS standards and communication skill requirements. Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes. 4. Student Assessment and Feedback: Assess students' progress through regular evaluations, mock tests, and assignments. • Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their weaknesses and capitalize on strengths. 5. Mentorship and Support: Offer guidance, counselling, and support to students to ensure their academic and personal development. Mentor and assist students in setting realistic goals and study plans for IELTS and English proficiency. Requirements: Masters degree or higher in English, Linguistics, Education, or related field. • Proficiency in IELTS exam formats, scoring, and strategies. Previous experience in teaching IELTS preparation courses and English communication skills to diverse groups. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to students' individual learning styles. • Familiarity with the latest teaching technologies and digital learning tools. Preferred candidate profile Preferred Qualifications: Certification in IELTS training or teaching English as a second language (TESOL/TEFL). • Experience in curriculum development and educational leadership. Knowledge of other languages and cultures beneficial for a multicultural classroom environment.
