Description

The Senior Manager SAP MM Consultant is a key role within the organization, responsible for leading and managing the SAP MM (Materials Management) with integration of SD (Sales and Distribution) modules. This position requires extensive experience and expertise in SAP MM with integration of SD modules, along with strong leadership and project management skills. Role & responsibilities Module Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to a team of SAP MM consultants. Oversee the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP MM modules. Ensure adherence to best practices and standards in SAP MM/SD module implementation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate MM with SD and other modules and external systems. Project Management: Manage end-to-end implementation projects, including project planning, resource allocation, and budget management. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and ensure timely project execution. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct gap analysis, and propose solutions. Solution Design and Configuration: Lead the design and configuration of SAP MM modules based on business requirements. Perform system configuration, including master data setup, pricing, order processing, and inventory management. Define and optimize business processes, recommending best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Conduct system testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest SAP MM functionality, industry trends, and best practices. Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Provide training and guidance to users on SAP MM/SD functionality and processes. Team Development: Mentor and develop the skills of junior consultants within the SAP MM team. Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs. Foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing culture within the team. Collaborate with the HR department for recruitment and onboarding of new team members. Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Extensive experience (8+ years) as an SAP MM/SD consultant, with hands-on configuration and implementation experience. Strong knowledge of SAP MM and SD modules, including integration with other SAP modules. Proven project management skills, with experience leading end-to-end SAP implementation projects. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of consultants. Experience with SAP S/4HANA and knowledge of SAP Activate methodology is a plus.
