Job description About the role Comvision is looking for person will have proven experience in a highly technical field, such as software development, computer science, or engineering to develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards for the company. This team will be responsible for product development for our state-of-the-art next generation software and solutions including Fastag, traffic management and smart city solutions. Software Technical Writer at Comvision Experience range 2+ years Salary Range Above market Job Location Gurugram, India KRAs and Professional Skills 1. The ideal candidate will be required to create documents for the following: • System design documents • Functional requirements specifications • Context diagrams • Data flow diagrams • User manuals for our software • Test manuals • Project compliance manuals • Release notes • Implementation notes • SAT documents 2. Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements. 3. Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation. Required skills: The ideal candidate must have: • Proven experience in technical writing and software documentation • Ability to work efficiently and effectively while adhering to tight deadlines • Excellent written & oral communication skills • Basic familiarity with SDLC & software development • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Qualifications: Bachelors degree in relevant technical field. 2-4 years industry experience as an effective technical writer. Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics. Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences. Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. Experience working with engineering to improve user experience: design, UI, and help refine content and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content.
