Rolesand Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Processing:
Gather datafrom various sources including network devices, monitoring tools, anddatabases.
Developscripts or utilize existing tools to automate data collection processes.
Clean,preprocess, and organize raw data to prepare it for analysis.
2. DataAnalysis and Interpretation:
Performexploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies innetwork data.
Utilizestatistical methods and visualization techniques to extract meaningful insightsfrom the data.
3.Reporting and Visualization:
Generatereports and dashboards to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
Createvisualizations such as charts, graphs, and heatmaps to present data in a clearand actionable manner.
Customizereporting tools and templates to meet the specific needs of differentdepartments or projects.
4.Domain Expertise in Networking, Security and Connectivity Products andSolutions:
Utilizedomain knowledge of Networking, Security and Connectivity Products andSolutions such as routers, switches,cables, etc to look at product hierarchies.
Stayupdated with the latest advancements and technologies in the field of networkhardware.
Provideexpert guidance and support to colleagues and teams working on projects.
5.Collaboration and Communication:
Collaboratewith cross-functional teams including IT specialists, and business analysts.
Communicateeffectively with team members to understand requirements, share findings, andaddress challenges.
Act as aliaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complexconcepts into accessible insights.
Qualifications:
Bachelor'sdegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, ora related field. Master's degree preferred.
Provenexperience as a Data Analyst, preferably with a focus on network infrastructuredevices.
Stronganalytical skills with the ability to extract actionable insights from largedatasets.
Proficiencyin data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, etc.
Familiaritywith data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectivelycollaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Experiencewith machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, clustering, classification)is a plus but not mandatory.
Certificationsin relevant areas such as network administration or data analysis areadvantageous.
