Description

Responsible for development of Products for General Industry, Chemical, Building Services & Waste Water Industry including Pumps and Pump Package. Develop & Localize new products like End Suction Pumps, Split Case Pumps, Multistage Pumps, Horizontally or Vertically Mounted to address applications from above mentioned industries with cross functional help. Manage Product Development activity & zeal to drive Projects to ensure activities are completed on time, meeting all requirements, including cost, quality & performance targets to support project plans & project execution. Serve as Primary product expert for assigned products Independently & Provide product management related support for all departments, mainly TSS / Sales, Production, QM, Customer Service and Purchase. Prepare & evaluate product variable cost and highlight actions to maintain margins. Knowledge of various industry standards like ISO 2858/5199, EN799, HIS, ASME. Provide Support & Technical inputs for introducing new products or maintaining existing ones mainly for Selection portals & Digital platforms. Conduct Technical Trainings with Sales and have close Interaction with Vendors/Suppliers to resolve product specification queries. Prepare & release product documents and literature during product release. Qualification and experience BE (Mechanical) with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in similar / relevant industries Knowledge / skills required Knowledge of ISO, ANSI, EN, ASTM, DIN, HIS standards & specifications Functional / Technical Competencies Knowledge of Centrifugal Pump Knowledge of Product Development and Accessories Understanding of various application and market segment Familiar with Product Cost Structure Behavioural Competencies Leadership Skills Analytical Skills Target Orientation Interpersonal Skills
