Job Role: SAP SD-L1 Support Consultant
Base location: Ahmedabad Onsite (WFO)
Job Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) L1 Support Consultant with a strong understanding of business processes to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for incident management and providing basic Level 1 (L1) support for SAP SD modules. This role requires a solid understanding of SAP SD functionalities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Incident Management:
Receive, analyze, and resolve Level 1 incidents related to SAP SD within defined SLA.
Log and track incidents using the designated ticketing system.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement timely solutions.
Basic L1 Support:
Provide first-line support for SAP SD end-users.
Assist users in navigating the SAP system and address basic functional queries.
Escalate issues to higher support levels when necessary.
Business Process Understanding:
Develop a deep understanding of the organization's sales and distribution business processes related to SAP SD.
Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into SAP SD solutions.
Documentation:
Create and maintain documentation for incident resolutions, standard operating procedures, and user guides.
Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible for the support team.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in SAP SD support activities.
Propose and implement enhancements to optimize system performance.
Communication:
Effectively communicate with end-users and other support teams to provide updates on incident resolution status.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and convey technical information in a user-friendly manner.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience in SAP SD support with a focus on Level 1 incident management.
Strong understanding of SAP SD functionalities and integration with other SAP modules.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required.
Basic knowledge of SAP ABAP and debugging is a plus.
SAP certification in SD is preferred.
