Description
Work closely with the technology / solutions / implementation teams to help determine the best technical implementation methods and reasonable execution schedule
Manage a team of engineers, help with technical design/architecture decisions/trade-offs, own estimations and tracking, code quality, planning and prioritization.
Organize and coordinate complex releases that comprise cross-functional teams and a multitude of interrelated and independent application and/or infrastructure changes.
Create, monitor, track and control project release schedules; track and report on program milestones, risks, and interdependencies.
Recommend process improvements for project management, change management, configuration management, and launch readiness; at times driving the implementation of these improvements.
Serve as the key representative in all communication, and decision-making forums/discussions (i.e. Release schedules UAT Reviews, Post Release Notes, etc )
Serve as an escalation point for all issues and questions raised by internal and external customers such as solutions, delivery, customer success teams.
Prioritize day-day customer-related tasks for key clients.
Work closely with the sales team while defining the scope of work for new clients
Job Requirement
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors degree required i.e. BE/BTech in any discipline.
Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
4-7 years of experience in the software industry either in product development or Software services.
2+ years of experience in Project/Program Management or experience of leading a software team.
Prior experience in software development is a must. Capability to understand code/design/architecture, and unblock developers.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies like Scrum/Agile, Kanban.
Knowledge of project and knowledge management tools like Jira and Confluence is a plus.
Ability to understand business/product requirements and prioritize day-day tasks for a group of developers.
Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and driving cross-functional projects.
PMP/Scrum Master certification is an added plus.
Experience in retail, digital, eCommerce, CRM, loyalty analytics space is a plus
