Data Analytics Intern The ideal candidate will have a passion for continuous improvement, standardizing processes and figuring out how to leverage big data and visualization tools to solve problems, evaluate hypotheses, and optimize intralogistics solution performance and capabilities while adapting to changing and growing business needs.
They will achieve this through their familiarity with data analytics processes, deep data analytics subject matter expertise, and strong collaboration with clients, consulting, sales and project management.
The right fit candidate will currently be living and attending school near the Cincinnati, OH area and be able to commute to our Mason, OH office for this internship. Responsibilities
• Develop and advance intralogistics analytics capabilities and outputs, as we work to shift to more proactive identification of sales opportunities while elevating client site performance and reporting the needs of the solutions Swisslog offers.
• Client product planning and inventory strategy development to meet customer needs, business requirements, and service level objectives.
• Perform business analytics that enable identification, prioritization, and justification of client improvement programs that optimize intralogistics performance.
• Leverage current data analytics tools and provide a “New set of eyes” feedback to help improve functionality and performance.
• Analyze operational data, and identify key trends, correlations, and improvement opportunities/plans order fulfillment requirements and inventory needs.
• Create and deliver impactful presentations for mid-level and senior-level audiences
Application Requirements
• Working towards Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, IT, Supply Chain, Business, or related quantitative discipline.
• Exceptional MS Excel and MS Access Skills
• Experience with SQL and Python
• Experience with Microsoft PPTX
• Knowledge of statistical methodologies and techniques
• Must possess solid communication skills
• Willingness to adhere to all principles of confidentiality
• Must value operating in a collaborative and cooperative environment.
• Ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to apply qualitative and quantitative assessments of data.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong Analytical skills, ability to structure and perform complex data analysis; Proactive ability to draw conclusions and recommendations from analysis performed.
