Summary
We are seeking a talented Data Scientist with a Machine Learning skillset to join our team. This role will report to the Manager, Artificial Intelligence and based out of PRGX’s Atlanta office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Master of Science or PhD in a relevant field, along with 1-3 years of experience applying machine learning techniques to solve complex data problems. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing machine learning models to extract insights and drive decision making across the organization.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Apply machine learning algorithms and statistical models to large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and relationships.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and develop data-driven solutions.
Design and implement end-to-end machine learning pipelines, from data preprocessing to model training, evaluation, and deployment.
Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in machine learning and artificial intelligence
Communicate complex data insights and findings to non-technical stakeholders through visualizations and presentations.
Mentor and guide interns on the team.
Work Experience And Education Requirements
Master of Science in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Data Science.
PhD preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience applying machine learning techniques to solve complex data problems.
Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical models, including supervised and unsupervised learning methods.
Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data visualization techniques.
Proficiency in Python programming, and experience working with big data tools such as Spark.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience with agile development methodologies and version control tools such as Git.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
