Job Description and Responsibilities
While LinkIt’s core technology platform provides online reports to analyze and visualize student data, LinkIt! also offers a premium reporting and consultation service called Navigator Analytics. These custom reports are more comprehensive than what is offered within the online platform and help schools create a narrative around their data by identifying patterns and trends to improve decision-making and data fluency. Navigator reports are created by our data analysts using Python and Microsoft Excel and are delivered to customers in PDF format.
The Quality Assurance Analyst’s primary responsibilities include:
Conducting a thorough review of analytical reports after data analysts complete an initial draft
Identifying any potential calculation/formatting errors and any other issues that may arise within reports, and providing written feedback to the data analyst
Working closely with the data analyst throughout the review process and reviewing subsequent drafts
Signing off on reports once all errors have been corrected
Technical & Analytical Requirements
Strong understanding of the editing and review process, arithmetic, and basic statistical concepts
Strong written communication skills
A keen eye for spotting errors or inconsistencies, pattern recognition, and visual analysis
Meticulous and detail-oriented
Comfort with Google Docs, Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel, and PDFs
Copy-editing backgrounds are a plus

Compensation:
Base salary: $50,000
Eligible for increase starting on January 15, 2025 payroll
Discretionary annual performance-based bonus
Standard benefits including vacation, holiday pay, and health insurance
Location:
New York City (Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan)
Hybrid office schedule (proof of vaccination required)
