Description
Identifies day-to-day operational priorities and other workflow issues; adjusts coders, and other staff as necessary to ensure a constant flow of work so that delivery schedules are met, while respecting other parameters, such as login usage and quality/compliance considerations.
Emphasizes productivity and quality goals and takes action to ensure effective and efficient use of staff is maintained. Creatively plans for allocation of extra capacity for backlog coding.
Tracks performance to ensure that staff is performing in alignment with the expectations of our clients.
Do production actively alongside their team to stay abreast of all coding and insurance guidelines and processes.
Guideline updates Co-ordinate with the QA team to ensure that the update is understood by the team associates.
Shall understand and abide by the organizations information security policy and protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all information assets.
Shall report incidents related to security of information to concerned authorities.
Basic Requirements:
Graduate/postgraduate preferably life science background with AAPC/AHIMA certification.
Acceptable certifications - CPC/COC/CIC/CPMA/CDEO/CHC/CCS.
Expertise in ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT coding, with a focus on HCC coding.
Proven ability to lead projects, develop strategies, and meet project goals.
