SAP FICO Asset Accounting Consultant Role: SAP FI/CO Asset Accounting Consultant Location: Santa Clara, CA Bramasol is based in Santa Clara, California, but candidates can live anywhere in the U. S. The resource should be open to travel 80%, Monday through to Thursday all business expenses paid. Employment Type: Full Time Description: Bramasol is seeking accounting/finance Functional consultants for its SAP United States Leasing Practice. This position requires business knowledge, direct interaction with clients, hands-on system configuration expertise of SAP FI/CO and may include team management for both onsite and offshore resources. You will guide clients through best-practice project scoping and delivery to ensure overall project success in implementing the Leasing solution. SAP FICO with Asset Accounting, Lease Accounting, and Results Analysis preferred Perform general ledger month-end close activities including performing & review journal entries, accruals, variance analysis, and account reconciliations Understand the accounting for lease transactions in accordance with ASC 842 - Leases Work with business partners for lease transactions Required Skills/ Experience: Clients require strong FICO consultants who can assist in implementing a solution for the new Leasing standards. This includes assessing what they do today in SAP versus what is available to them in the new SLAN solution based on new IFRS standards. Advanced knowledge on FI: FI-AR (Account Receivable Sap (Account Payables), GL and New GL (General Ledger), FI-AA (Asset Account); Month/year-end closing activities and Configuration of SAP FI integration with SD and MM modules. Knowledge of New Asset accounting and its integration Deployment of the solution to implement changes will follow. Senior FICO functional consultant 5 to 10 years of SAP FICO in multiple implementations Experience working with Asset Accounting, Lease Accounting, Results analysis, US GAAP, IFRS. Preferred Background: Bachelor of Science or Arts or Computers or Accounting (preferred). Proven success in implementing SAP functionality in a team environment & ability to work self-sufficiently. Certification in SAP FI/CO, and/or other SAP Solutions. Ability to follow SAP methodology including conducting gap analysis between business requirements and SAP solutions, analyzing and preparing data migration plans, developing & executing rigorous data and process testing plans Project Management experience with Large and Medium Sized Enterprises (preferred but not required).
